I went to the EVIL DEAD remake tonight. The majority of the good stuff is in the trailers. The characters lacked any sort of development. And dare I say it, the film itself is… overrated. Jane Levy was the only one who got to show any acting chops. But even her creepy cellar scenes (“we’re gonna get you..” etc) were cut from the actual film itself. It is still worth checking out though, if you want a fun, bloody time. The ending was the best part. Incredibly fun and bloody, and not ruined by trailers.
